Dang, it's been a month already!

I don't mean for 4 weeks to fly by, but it did. We went to Maryland to visit Michaels side of the family. It was so nice, and pretty relaxing, although we tried to busy ourselves and make the most of our trip.
(at the airport)
We arrived at the house around 6pm or so. Bubba was happy to see us! He had dinner ready, which was fried chicken, baked beans, potato rolls and potato salad, it was fantastic! The next morning, was Fathers Day. We went next door and Uncle Bill and aunt Kathy were setting up for breakfast. I was informed that every Sunday, Uncle Bill makes a big breakfast (and I missed out on it again today because we live in Texas BOO! )
(Michael grumpy because I wanted him to get closer to Uncle Bill for a pic)
He made all sorts of goodies like hash browns, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, chipped beef with biscuits, there was coffee and he was threatening to make french toast too! We were all too full to eat anymore, but it was awesome. The rest of the day we hung out and visited with family, later a big dinner was made and James and Shannon and their little boy Thomas (who is a big ol cutie, and a ham for the camera)
(see what I mean!! hahaha)

A fathers day gift for Uncle Bill (I dont remember who it was from though, it was hilarious!)

We were first going to go to D.C. via the Metro train, but a bad wreck the day before, made it pretty crazy. The lines were only open for rush hours etc, so we decided not to go. I found this news out from Uncle Bill as I was grabbing a cup of coffee from their kitchen and the wreckage was on the news. The girls wouldnt have really liked the Smithsonians, I dont think, and those museums are impossible to even attempt to tackle in one day. Oh well, no fun pics to share of from D.C. Instead, we hung out and took naps and went on a walk in the afternoon around the house behind Bubba's.

Thats the house that is empty behind Bubbas!
(Avery hopped into the sandbox after the walk, I think she liked it)

The next day we drove into Baltimore and visited their Science Museum. It was like a childrens museum if you ask me, but that was awesome, and the girls had a great time exploring and playing (even though they went without a nap until the ride home)

That is totally Avery on a bed of nails, Neat huh?!? She tried it first, then we all did it. :)
Here Avery and Grammy check out a cloud maker, OOOHHH!

This was a big thing that little balls rolled around through, popping off things etc.
That was a tornado simulator, totally cool, but Avery wasn't willing to touch it :)

I was 9 weeks that day.

I will have to add to this post tomorrow, and cover the trip to Pennsylvania. More Later!
